If you’ve been around the area long enough, you have probably had Chef Justin Leiter’s food, even if you don’t know it. The chef worked at The Gamble Mill and then the Red Horse (about a decade at each) before taking his skills on the road with the Belle City Bites food truck.

Now the chef has found another brick and mortar home inside of Big Spring Spirits, where his flavors pair perfectly with the well-crafted cocktails Bellefonte has embraced whole heartedly.

For Restaurant Week, Belle City Bites is featuring a very summery sandwich: two shrimp rolls with shrimp salad on buttery split and toasted bread.

The bar staff at Big Spring recommend the June featured cocktail as a pairing: The Garden Party is made with muddled mint and cucumber, rye whiskey, simple syrup and lime juice. Thank goodness we’re all on the guest list!
