Executive Chef Bradley Hansen is always dreaming up weekly burger specials — with the help of The Field’s staff, of course — but he wanted to do something a little different for Happy Valley Restaurant Week. The Happy Valley Street Corn Burger is topped with cotija cheese, fresh pico de gallo and avocado and garnished with the burger’s inspiration itself: elote, or Mexican street corn with lime, chile powder, and more cotija. For Restaurant Week, the burger special will share ranks with the growing coach’s corner section of the menu, which includes the newly released Juicy Lucy-style burger in honor of Minnesota-born PSU women’s basketball coach Carolyn Kieger.
