The French Dip Trio ($12)
Slow cooked, house made au jus, beef pot roast, and provolone on a toasted French baguette. Served with a deli side, cookie, and drink
This Restaurant Week, don’t sleep on HoneyBaked Ham in Creekside Plaza on South Atherton! The unrushed, slow cooked, house made au jus makes all the difference in their classic French Dip. Served on a French baguette that’s toasty on the outside and soft on the inside and generously filled with their beef pot roast and provolone, the first dip delivers an ultra-satisfying combo of flavors and textures that keeps you coming back for more. (After a taste test, it was instantly clear to us why this sandwich went viral in the Foodies of State College Facebook group.) We got to try it alongside a pasta salad that features fresh PA-grown veggies and a light and summery lemon thyme vinaigrette. Oh, and a chewy, buttery, chocolate chip cookie that could never be accused of skimping on the chocolate! It made for a perfect lunch combo.
